BMW i4 M60 Launches as Flagship Electric Performance Sedan
BMW has officially introduced the i4 M60, the latest top-of-the-line variant in its i4 electric sedan lineup. Replacing the previous i4 M50, the M60 brings enhanced performance, refined styling, and extended range capabilities to BMW's electric vehicle portfolio.

More Power, Same Dual-Motor AWD Setup
Under the hood, the i4 M60 continues with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. The front motor now delivers 200 kW (up from 190 kW), while the rear motor increases to 250 kW (previously 230 kW). With Sport Boost mode activated, the system unleashes a combined maximum output of 442 kW—equivalent to 601 horsepower. This allows the i4 M60 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, with a top speed of 218 km/h.

Extended WLTP Range with High-Capacity Battery
The M60 is powered by an 81.1 kWh usable capacity battery pack. Thanks to improved efficiency, the official WLTP range increases from 433 km to an impressive 551 km, offering long-distance comfort without compromising performance.

Exterior Styling with M-Inspired Details
While the i4 M60 maintains the core shape of the 2025 i4 sold in China, it includes subtle design enhancements. At the front, vertical twin-arrow LED daytime running lights add a futuristic touch, while the closed kidney grille with black horizontal accents carries a prominent "M" badge. Black inserts and functional air intakes on both sides of the front bumper complete the sporty look.

The side profile features flush-mounted door handles and 20-inch multi-spoke wheels with red brake calipers. At the rear, laser tail lights with triple L-shaped light strips create a three-dimensional visual effect. A black spoiler on the trunk lid and "M" branding on the fenders and tailgate emphasize its performance pedigree.

Luxury Interior with Motorsport Inspiration
Inside, the i4 M60 features a modern curved dual-screen layout with an M-branded three-spoke steering wheel, highlighted by a red-blue stitched center mark at the 12 o’clock position. Carbon fiber decorates the dashboard and passenger-side panel, while aluminum pedals and integrated front sports seats add to the premium, athletic feel. The headrests also showcase embossed "M" logos.

Performance Handling with Adaptive M Suspension
The i4 M60 comes standard with adaptive M suspension featuring specifically tuned springs and dampers for precise handling. A variable sport steering system further enhances responsiveness during dynamic driving.

Pricing and Market Positioning
The i4 M60 is priced from €72,900 in European markets (approximately ¥589,000 or $78,800 USD). In comparison, the current i4 M50 is priced at ¥549,900 (around $73,600 USD) in China. BMW aims to launch the M60 in China soon, where it will compete directly with other high-performance EVs such as the Xiaomi SU7 and Tesla Model 3 Performance.

With its blend of aggressive styling, powerful performance, and long range, the BMW i4 M60 positions itself as a compelling option in the growing segment of premium electric sports sedans.
