On May 28, IAT Automobile Technology Co., LTD announced the official establishment of ALT Taiyi AI Technology Co., Ltd. in Beijing’s Economic-Technological Development Area. The new company aims to lead innovation in foundational AI software, application system development, and intelligent platform construction focused on the automotive industry.

Multi-Party Investment to Build an AI Ecosystem
ALT Taiyi AI is backed by a consortium of investors including IAT Auto, Shuimu Capital, and Beijing Yingweite Da Technology Partnership. As a core vehicle for executing IAT’s AI strategy, the company plans to attract large model developers, algorithm providers, and OEMs as future shareholders. Additional financial capital will be introduced to scale growth and commercialization.

Targeting Core Automotive AI Technologies
The new company will concentrate on building industry-specific large AI models, with core areas including automotive attribute models, design knowledge models, intelligent CAD generation, generative styling, performance reverse modeling, and CAE intelligent simulation. These innovations are underpinned by IAT’s rich database, which includes 5,470 primary technical standards, over 6,000 international regulatory items, and extensive CAE, testing, and model data—providing a strong foundation for AI training.

Dual Model: R&D and Commercial Services
ALT Taiyi AI will adopt a dual-business model combining in-house R&D and commercial services. It will offer vertical model development to OEMs, license AI software products, and collaborate with IAT Auto to deliver integrated AI solutions across vehicle design, engineering, and simulation workflows.

Building a Native AI-Driven Vehicle Development Platform
The company will focus on the development of attribute-based large models centered around user value in automotive products. These models will power a range of AI tools and intelligent agents covering key stages such as product definition, generative styling design, component-level intelligent modeling, and predictive performance analytics.
