The upcoming Voyah FREE+, an upgraded version of the existing Voyah FREE, is set to debut its interior on May 28, with pre-sales beginning in June 2025. This luxury smart SUV integrates some of Huawei’s most cutting-edge in-car technologies, positioning itself as a premium offering in China’s growing new energy vehicle market.

Futuristic Smart Cabin with HarmonyOS 5.0

The interior of the Voyah FREE+ features a redesigned, elegant light-tone layout with modern aesthetics. It incorporates a floating full-LCD digital instrument cluster, a large central infotainment screen, and a head-up display (HUD)system. At the heart of the cabin lies the HarmonyOS 5.0 smart cockpit, which allows for seamless smartphone integration, super desktop mode, one-tap screen casting, and Huawei Share. Multiple desktop themes enhance personalization.

Enhanced Ergonomics and High-End Features

The steering wheel features a new three-spoke design, with a column-mounted gear selector for a cleaner console. The co-driver panel includes dual 50W wireless charging pads and storage compartments, while the center armrest has been redesigned to open from both sides. For immersive audio, the cabin is fitted with 22 speakers supporting 7.1.4 panoramic surround sound, with headrest-integrated speakers in the front seats and ambient lighting within dashboard speaker housings.

Rear Comfort and Digital Convenience

Rear passengers benefit from extended seat cushions and headrests, an independent air conditioning control panel, and dedicated air vents. The front passenger seatback also features a screen extension interface. All four doors offer electronic soft-close functionality and button-based opening, enhancing both luxury and accessibility.

Exterior Enhancements and Modern Styling

On the outside, the Voyah FREE+ presents a closed-off front grille, sleek headlights joined by a black trim strip, and minimalist front bumpers with stylish black accents. The rear end is slightly revised with updated bumper design while maintaining the original taillight structure.

Enlarged Dimensions and Smart Sensor Integration

The SUV now measures 4915mm in length, 1960mm in width, and 1660mm in height, with a 2960mm wheelbase. Compared to its predecessor, it is 10mm longer and wider, and 15mm taller. The roof now houses a top-mounted LiDAR unit, while cameras are strategically placed on the fenders and spoilers to support the Huawei ADS 4 driving assistance system.

Extended-Range Powertrain and EV Driving Options

Under the hood, the Voyah FREE+ is equipped with a 1.5T range extender engine and an electric motor system, available in both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive variants. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum net power of 95 kW, while the two-wheel drive motor outputs 215 kW. The four-wheel drive version features a 135 kW front motorand a 215 kW rear motor.

It is powered by a 43.2 kWh LFP battery pack, supporting pure electric ranges of 235 km or 225 km for the two-wheel drive model, and 196 km or 190 km for the four-wheel drive version.
