The Skoda Favorit, originally launched in 1987 as one of the brand’s most successful models, is making a bold return. Reimagined by the Bertone design studio, the all-new Favorit Concept merges retro nostalgia with cutting-edge design, capturing attention with its clean lines and future-forward elements.

Refined Retro Design with Modern Proportions

The new Skoda Favorit Concept retains the minimalistic and clean style of its predecessor, with softened angular lines for a more refined look. The classic fastback silhouette remains, now paired with a larger overall body size to align with modern consumer tastes.

Unlike the current Skoda lineup that features the “Tech-Deck Face” design language, the Favorit Concept introduces a completely fresh front fascia, distancing itself from the family look in favor of a unique and distinctive identity.

Innovative LED Lighting and Intelligent Features

One of the standout elements of the Skoda Favorit Concept is its advanced lighting system. Slim LED units are used at both the front and rear, giving the vehicle a sleek, futuristic appearance. The rear badge is also illuminated, enhancing the visual appeal.

According to lead designer David Stingl, the front light setup is particularly innovative. When forward lighting is needed, the LED daytime running lights can automatically fold away and transform into full-function high and low beams. This flexible lighting architecture highlights the intelligent, adaptive nature of the new concept car.

All-Electric Powertrain for Modern Performance

Ljudmil Slavov, the concept's powertrain designer, confirmed that the Skoda Favorit Concept will be powered entirely by an electric drivetrain. This shift to pure electric propulsion marks a significant performance upgrade and aligns with the growing demand for zero-emission mobility.

While technical specifications have yet to be revealed, the move to an electric platform positions the Favorit Concept as a potential future-forward option in Skoda’s lineup, combining nostalgic design with next-gen eco-efficiency.
