2025 BMW M2 CS Debuts with Limited Global Release
BMW has officially launched the 2025 M2 CS, a high-performance variant of the M2, engineered for enthusiasts craving track-level performance in a road-legal package. The new model is expected to be available in limited quantities in select global markets, including China, with deliveries beginning in Q4 of this year.
Enhanced Aerodynamics and Lightweight Engineering
The 2025 M2 CS builds upon the foundation of the standard M2 with a suite of aerodynamic enhancements. These upgrades include a reworked front splitter, aggressive side skirts, and a larger rear diffuser, all contributing to improved downforce and stability at high speeds.
In addition, BMW has focused on reducing weight, incorporating carbon fiber components such as a lightweight trunk lid. This has resulted in an overall weight reduction of approximately 45.36 kilograms, increasing agility and handling precision.
Aggressive Performance Design Elements
At the rear, the M2 CS features a distinctive integrated ducktail spoiler, which is paired with a quad-tip exhaust system and a dramatic rear diffuser, projecting an unmistakably aggressive presence on the road. These elements aren't just for show—they directly contribute to the car’s aerodynamic efficiency and dynamic performance.
Motorsport-Inspired Interior
Inside, the M2 CS adopts the current M2's layout but with a number of upgrades. The cabin is lined with premium materials like carbon fiber and Alcantara, elevating both aesthetics and functionality. A pair of racing bucket seats with blue and red contrast stitching reinforces the motorsport DNA, while CS-exclusive badging is strategically placed throughout the interior to highlight its limited-edition status.
Powertrain: 530 Horsepower of Precision
Under the hood, the M2 CS is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six engine that delivers an impressive 530 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. Paired with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission, the drivetrain is tuned for razor-sharp responsiveness, making it equally at home on mountain roads or the racetrack.
Global Pricing and Availability
The BMW M2 CS is priced at $99,775 (approximately ¥718,300 RMB) and will be available in limited numbers. As a collector-grade performance model, it’s poised to become one of the most desirable entries in BMW’s M lineup for 2025.
