On May 20, DONGFENG PEUGEOT CITROEN AUTOMOBILE COMPANY LTD (DPCAC)—a joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Group and Stellantis, each holding a 50% stake—launched its new proprietary EV brand HEDMOS. Its first model, the HEDMOS Shijie 06, is a compact electric SUV designed for urban families and tech-savvy individuals.

Only one variant of the Shijie 06 is available at launch, priced at ¥125,800 (~$17,400). However, early buyers can benefit from a limited-time offer at ¥108,800 (~$15,000) under the “French Style Appreciation” introductory program.

The Shijie 06 is powered by a front-mounted single electric motor with a maximum output of 160kW, allowing for 0-100 km/h acceleration in 6.9 seconds.

Its battery system includes:

  • CLTC-rated electric range of up to 520km (approx. 323 miles)

The vehicle is built on the DSMA (Dongfeng Smart Modular Architecture), ensuring performance consistency, manufacturing efficiency, and long-term reliability.
