On May 26, 2025, FAW unveiled the Bestune Yueyi 07, a new mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV, during a major event held in Changchun, China. This model is a strategic addition to FAW’s growing new energy vehicle lineup. With four available trims priced between ¥99,800 and ¥139,900 ($13,800–$19,300), the Yueyi 07 is the first mass-produced vehicle based on the BMP Super Hybrid platform, and the second model on the Yueying architecture.

Futuristic Exterior with LED Signature

The 2025 Yueyi 07 features a closed front grille for a sleek EV-like appearance. Its front fascia is dominated by a split headlight design with an upper full-width LED daytime running light, delivering high visibility and a high-tech look. The lower headlamp units blend seamlessly with air-channel-style elements, giving the SUV a bold and coherent presence.

Sleek Side Profile and Customization Options

From the side, the Yueyi 07 boasts clean, flowing lines, with a slightly rising shoulder line that creates a sense of motion. In contrast to many modern EVs, it retains traditional door handles, enhancing familiarity and practicality. Buyers can choose between 18-inch or 19-inch alloy wheels, and select an optional floating roof color scheme to add a sportier look.

It offers two battery configurations: a 30.9kWh pack and a 21.2kWh pack, supporting pure electric ranges of 160km (99 miles) and 112km (70 miles), respectively. This range flexibility allows users to tailor the SUV to their daily commute or longer trips, balancing performance and efficiency.
