On May 29, the facelifted Volvo S90 officially launched with seven variants, priced from ¥300,900 to ¥454,900 (approximately $41,600 to $63,000). While the core platform, chassis, and powertrain remain consistent with the outgoing model, this update emphasizes visual refinement and digital interior enhancements. As Volvo's flagship sedan, the new S90 continues production at the Daqing factory—its sole global manufacturing base.

Building on its Nordic design DNA, the refreshed S90 now embraces a sharper, more expressive style in tune with the era of new energy vehicles. The most visually striking update is the introduction of a new exterior color—Senberry Red—a bold departure from Volvo’s traditionally cool tones. This hue brings a vibrant, luxurious feel to the elegant sedan.

Though the body dimensions remain unchanged, subtle yet impactful exterior tweaks make the new S90 stand out. At the front, redesigned “Thor’s Hammer” LED daytime running lights deliver a more aggressive visual signature.
