The 800,000th new car of the BYD Song PLUS car series has officially rolled off the assembly line, and it is the Song PLUS DM-i championship version. This model has won the plug-in hybrid SUV sales championship for 31 consecutive months, becoming the fastest new energy SUV by a Chinese brand to reach 800,000 units. Full-year sales in 2023 were 427,071 units. Song PLUS DM-i Champion Edition is priced from 159,800 yuan, with a total of 4 configurations. BYD sold 341,000 new energy vehicles in December, and its cumulative sales in 2023 were 3.0244 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 62.3%.
